Haney just announced his departure as Chief Clerk of the Texas House, after serving a wide variety of roles in the legislature for the past 30 years. He also served as President of the American Society of Legislative Clerks and Secretaries. During his time in the legislature Haney was a leader in integrating technology and innovation across the legislative landscape.
