ETHICS COMMISSION SUNSET REVIEW

The 2012-2013 Sunset review of the Ethics Commission resulted in legislative passage of Senate Bill 219 (83R). The bill, however, was vetoed by the Governor. The Commission is now under Sunset Review for the 2024-2025 Review Cycle - 89th Legislative Session. PAAT will be involved in the Sunset Review process in a variety of ways - including submitting recommendations for improvements to the ethics laws and processes, and monitoring the review process. If you are interested in submitting recommendations click below (must be a PAAT member). Stay tuned for more information.
